Deep in the African rain forest, two researchers, Kate Rogers and Dave Matheson, are sent to map out an ancient wall but mysteriously disappear. Matheson reappears on the sparsely populated Navajo Reservation critically injured and dies from a severe and unknown bacterial infection. Rogers is presumed lost until the lead scientist, Dr. Edward Tevis, begins to suspect differently. He contacts James Larkin, his employer in Brussels. believing Kate may still be alive but trapped in a prehistoric world, a kill or be eaten world of terror, violence and absolute isolation. Larkin is ruthless and has developed a powerful quantum computer equipped with “markers” with capability to track fields of minerals. He tells Tevis he doesn’t care about Rogers. Unknown to Larkin Tevis changed the markers and believes they caused a time vortex to open. Matheson returned with his marker but Kate has lost hers. Larkin asks one thing-what’s in it for him? Gwyn Stone his attractive attorney tells Larkin to do the right thing after an employee died from unexplained bacteria brought from an unknown environment. Interpol as well as the Federal Government would charge him with international terrorism, she tells him, if this bacteria gets out since no known antibiotic can stop it. Stone convinces Larkin to send a party back into the Congo. In the meantime, original members of the field operation begin to disappear or become incapacitated. Stone contacts Seth Conner, a renowned paleontologist working in Hell’s Kitchen Formation in Montana for help. Connor, after hearing the story is skeptical, but is soon persuaded after a large sum of money is offered. He holds out hope, but in truth does not really believe the time travel story. The party goes deep into the Congo not knowing if Connor can re-enter a Cretaceous world. As far as Kate knows, all hope is lost. Can Seth Connor find the vortex and travel back in time to rescue Kate? Can they reactivate the vortex and get back home with the only remaining marker?
Jurassic Time Riders
Two researchers in the Congo mysteriously disappear. One is found on the sparsely populated Navajo Reservation brutally attacked, and dies of severe bacterial infection. The other, Kate Rogers, is presumed lost. Ed Tevis, lead scientist tells James Larkin he thinks Kate was swept back to an ancient world through a time vortex created by Larkins ITRC quantum markers. Larkin decides not to report the death and insists on sending a party back to the Congo to try and rescue Rogers, not from the goodness of his heart, but to patent time travel and make millions. Seth Conner, a prominent paleontologist is contacted and is asked to travel back in time to try to rescue Kate, but Connor feels skeptical of the time continuum theory. He decides to get involved after he is offered a large sum of money for his services. Seth Connor knows if he is to succeed he must find the time vortex and maybe find Kate alive.
